Problemstellung: Internet Sales ist eine e-Selling Lösung der Firma SAPMarkets Inc. zur Nutzung des Internets als strategischen Verkaufskanal. Durch die Einbindung in eine Customer Relationship Management-Umgebung (CRM) stellt Internet Sales die Möglichkeit zur Überwachung einzelner Prozessschritte aus dem gesamten e-Selling-Prozess zur Verfügung. Neben dem Erstellen von Kundenprofilen und der Produktkonfiguration können u.a. Auftragsverwaltung und Zahlungsvorgänge überwacht werden. Internet Sales ist eine Client/Server-Anwendung, die überwiegend mit Java-Technologien implementiert wurde. Basierend auf dem Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Konzept wird für diese Anwendung zum Beispiel ein SAP-System zur Datenhaltung und zur Steuerung betriebswirtschaftlicher Abläufe benötigt. Um den Einsatz der Internet Sales Lösung für Partnerfirmen, die ohne Enterprise Application arbeiten, ermöglichen zu können, ist eine Simulationsschicht als quasi Enterprise Application-Ersatz notwendig, welche die für die Anwendung relevanten betriebswirtschaftlichen Abläufe der Anwendung simuliert und deren Testdaten verarbeitet. Ziel dieser Diplomarbeit ist es, ein Konzept zur Integration einer Simulationsschicht in die Internet Sales Lösung zu erstellen und deren Implementierung über eine unabhängige Ablauflogik, basierend auf den in der Enterprise Application - Anwendung existierenden Funktionen zu realisieren.
