From the supplier: Norwest Corp. has been successfully generating consumer interest via the Sprint Prepaid Foncard. Since Mar. 1995, the company has been offering 30- to 60-minute prepaid phone card to customers who apply for a loan, open a checking account or buy other Norwest products or service. The company has raised revenues from new loans, deposits and certificates of deposits from the 15 million minutes of free long-distance service it has offered so far. The promotion will be extended until the end of 1998 as a result of its success.
